Informations about Laying and Maintenance

Hint for Laying

Before the installation, please:

  • lay a few slabs of Pietra Piasentina on the ground;
  • always handle the product carefully to avoid damaging the edges;
  • do not mark Pietra Piasentina with indelible products.

For the laying of Pietra Piasentina you are allowed to use tile adhesives, cement mortar, sealants, but be careful to check their features and usage details and stick to the instructions and to the design specifications.

After the installation we recommend to:

  • provide fast cleaning of the slabs. Please avoid letting adhesives and sealants dry on the surface;
  • do not remove excess mortar or sealants with metal utensils, brushes or abrasive products.

As it is indicated by the technical characteristics, the differences in the shades of the stone or in its granulometry cannot be considered as material flaws, but please always check that the material corresponds to the quality standards we are used to and that you must pretend, too.
