The polished or honed finishes, being smooth and slippery, are not suitable for outdoor flooring.
The initial slipperiness tests carried out on the type of surface provide a value that can only be applied to "new slabs". Therefore, it would be a customer's care to verify and properly maintain the laid product so as to keep the material in a safe slip-proof condition.
Given the composition of Pietra Piasentina, which is about 90% calcium carbonate, we advise against acid-based products for cleaning, preferring water and neutral detergent.
Avoid leaving dirt for too long on the floor. In case of stains, before attempting any type of cleaning treatment always make a test on a limited portion of the area to clean.
