This effect is achieved by using a combination of techniques: a special heat equipment and various brushes mounted on a polishing machine.
The effect is that it operates on the crude sawn surface and makes it rough in texture, giving the surface a tactile sensation of "orange peel". The colour nuance ranges from grey to dark reddish veins and is generally darker if compared to flaming alone or to honed and polished finishes.

Application:

Flamed and Brushed can be applied to flooring and coatings from a minimum 1 cm. thickness and beyond. It is particularly indicated for external flooring, stairs, door and window panels, thresholds, window sills, portals, interior coatings, design work and customized work upon request.
